Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join Calderdale Community Coaching Trustas we embark on our History of Halifax (Calderdale) Amateur Rugby League Project.
The new role of Heritage Officer will oversee and contribute to the research and collation of data and engagement we key stakeholders, which will tell the complete history of Halifax (Calderdale) Amateur Rugby League. The role will contribute to the development and implementation of new collections management policies and procedures which will ensure that the assets held within the Heritage Collection are documented, stored and displayed using methods that ensure their preservation whilst also ensuring their usability for audience engagement.
About you
You are a motivated individual who is proactive and used to planning and implementing approaches to a variety of research-based projects. You will have experience of working within a rugby league foundation or similar setting and have a good understanding of how to assess need, prioritise and implement change.
You will be a team player who is supportive of your colleagues and willing to contribute to a wide variety of work areas to contribute to the strategic purpose of the History of Halifax (Calderdale) Amateur Rugby League Project: “Through an active and innovative programme of collecting, interpreting and engagement the Calderdale Community Coaching Trust and its partners, will use the History of Halifax (Calderdale) Amateur Rugby League project to create connections between Amateur Rugby League clubs , past and present, and the wider Rugby League community.”
