Martin Moana

The Old Post Office in Halifax was the latest venue for our ‘an evening with’ Martin Moana.

Marty spoke about his rugby upbringing in New Zealand and how he came to Halifax in December 1996 wondering what he had let himself in for with the place covered in snow.

He spoke with Malcolm Kielty about his journey through the UK Super League until his retirement and his career looking after kids in care.

He treated the audience of 30 with a Maori thank you as well as a Haka.
